During April, R J Cadman Construction successfully handed over Ward 11, South Block at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

At the Annual Award Ceremony on 5th March 2009, R J Cadman Construction were awarded a Highly Commended Certificate in the Sustainability Category. Lockett Gardens is a development of eighteen special needs bungalows for the Hesley Group, finished to the latest building specifications with environmental and sustainability issues paramount in design and construction.

The bungalows make use of a rainwater harvesting ‘Eco vat’ reducing the demand on potable water for toilet flushing and similar. A viable and cost effective solution to water recycling.

A well designed, modern wood burning heating system
provides environmentally sound and cost effective warmth from sustainably produced renewable carbon fuel.
