2017 Single Storey Extension on stilts to existing premises of Weldtite Products Ltd at Barton Upon Humber. This is the third project undertaken for this client over the last 10 years.
2017 Infill to open air quadrangle to form a teaching space at a Primary School in Worsbrough for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council was completed in October. The area was in the middle of the school and work was completed by the Autumn Half Term break with minimum or no disruption to the school.
2017 Extensions and Alterations at a Primary School in Penistone for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council successfully completed in August ready for the Autumn Term.
We also installed a new Production Kitchen for the school at the same time and it was handed over to kitchen staff to familiarise themselves before the start of the Autumn Term.
2016 4 Bed Dwelling A large detatched house built to the client's requirements for a high proportion of sustainable and environmentally sound materials. A ground source heat pump is utilised for hot water. This project is indicative of the commitment R J Cadman Construction Ltd has to encouraging and supporting sustainability in construction and making a positive contribution to the environment.
2016 Moss and Fenwick Village Hall This purpose built Village Hall replaced their former premises in what was the Children's institute built in 1928 . The new Village Hall is on a plot of land donated by a local resident and it is a community facility for Moss and Fenwick and neighbouring villages. Funds were raised locally and supported with a grant from WREN, which is a not-for-profit business that awards grants for community, biodiversity and heritage projects from funds donated by FCC Environment through the Landfill Communities Fund. WREN was established in 1997 and since then has provided over £200m to more than 7,000 community and environmental projects throughout the UK.
2016 Royds Green Two more dwellings, Dovecote and Linhay have been handed over to their new homeowners.
2015 Royds Green Farm The first two buildings at Royds Green, Oulton, near Leeds have now been handed over. This project encompasses the complete restoration of a 17th Century Grade 2 listed farm house and a cottage refurbishment. Additionally there are five barn conversions to create bespoke dwellings. Bats and barn owls currently making their home at Royds Green will be accommodated by the provision of bat boxes and a barn owl loft. The protection of these wild creatures, their habitat and environment is integral to the company's commitment to conservation in the countryside.
2015 The Old Reading Room, West Witton, North Yorkshire A comprehensive internal and external refurbishment of the Old Reading Room will incorporate an internal framework of green oak. On completion, the building will provide a two bedroom, bespoke holiday let, with five star facilities.
2014 Locke Park Tower, Barnsley The tower at Locke Park in Barnsley reopened to the public, more than 20 years after its closure. The folly, a magnificent Observation Tower was built in 1877 as a memorial to Phoebe Locke who created the park in memory of her husband, railway pioneer and engineer Joseph Locke. The mayor of Barnsley, Cllr Ken Richardson, reopened the tower on September 14 after R J Cadman Construction completed phase one of the restoration works. The initial £80,000 restoration had fixed its spiral staircase, the outside steps and the electrics, and had already brought back much of the tower's former glory. The Friends of Locke Park group are campaigning to raise another £120,000 for repairs to the ornate stonework.
August 2014 Moss & Fenwick Village Hall Work commenced on a purpose built village hall after a ceremony earlier in the year when Doncaster North MP Ed
Milliband carried out the first cutting of the sod. Work was completed on the building shell in December
May 2014 R J Cadman Construction appointed to build a bespoke extension to a dwelling in Ripon, North Yorkshire
April 2014 R J Cadman Construction returned to Birkwood Primary School in Cudworth Barnsley during the Easter holidays. Work included the refurbishment of a classroom and the kitchen for the Nursery.
2013 A E Spink New Showroom Front Elevation and internal refurbishment
2013 Hunningley Primary School, Barnsley During the school holiday, R J Cadman successfully remodelled the entrance and staff area and completed a new fire alarm installation.

2011 Hill House School Doncaster. Sixth Form Centre Building work began on 9th May 2011 for a dedicated sixth form centre at Hill House Independent School near Doncaster. When completed, the new building provides a three-storey centre alongside tennis courts and a wooded area.It was designed to be in keeping with the traditional look of the main building, once the home of the RAF Finningley officers mess.
May 2011 Lincoln Gardens School, Scunthorpe Work commenced on a new stand alone classroom for this local primary school.
March 2011 Agricultural Grain Store A traditionally built portal frame grainstore completed May
March 2009 Wilsic Hall School. A new 6 bed accommodation unit built at Wilsic Hall Wadworth, near Doncaster for the Hesley Group.
November 2008 For Spinks, Building and Plumbers Merchants, a project to relocate Building Sales.
October 2008 King Street, Thorne. A new six bed accommodation unit for the Hesley group with provision for special needs and refurbishment of the existing property.
September 2008 Hill House School Relocation to Former Officer's Mess, RAF Finningly. Extensive refurbishment of the original building and restoration of many of the original
features. The new facility has provided distinct areas for Lower School & Nursery, Middle School and Senior School.
August 2008 R J Cadman commenced a multi million pound refurbishment project, the first phase of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary re-organisation. Work on the DRI South Block, was completed May 2009.
May 2008 R J Cadman commenced work on a new spectator stand for the DRFC at the Doncaster Knights ground, Castle Park.
March 2008 R J Cadman Construction Limited were commissioned to provide a further extension to Weldtite Products Limited, Barton Upon Humber
